Advent is a wonderful time of year as we are reminded of God’s nature and his covenant faithfulness. In Isaiah 9:6, after the reality of darkness and gloom the promise of a child and son is given. He will be the light of the world and his name will be called “Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
