WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE OUR KIDS
Our children (like us adults) need to hear the good news of Jesus daily. They need to be discipled, and to be taught the living word of God.
DYAN ALLISON is our Children’s Ministry Leader. She is married to BRETT and they have A BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER, EMILY.
Our Program:
Life Kids
Our Life Kids program is for children who are in Prep and older. We teach our kids from The Gospel Project—a curriculum that takes the kids through the Bible over three years. Kids are encouraged to bring their Bibles and we encourage parents to ask questions about the program with their children & our volunteers. We also encourage parents to continue the lesson at home during the week - and at times will provide take home material to help facilitate this.
CRECHE
For younger children (crawling to kindy) we offer a supervised space for them to play with toys provided, and encourage them to participate with our older children’s curriculum when suitable. Children are welcome to bring a water bottle - provided they are able to drink unassisted. Parents are welcome to stay with their child or join the main service at any time. Our volunteers will notify you if your child needs to be toileted/ nappy changed or with any other concerns.
During each school holiday period, our kids programs take a break for a couple of weeks. We encourage parents to bring their children to join the congregation for our full service. Feel free to bring snacks (nut free), and quiet activities if required. Unsupervised space will be available for younger children if they need some space.
Sign in for both our kids programs commences part way through the service.
All of our volunteers hold up-to-date blue cards and are vetted by Church Leadership.
