The Lane Family: Joining Us from the United States
Brian and Meredith Lane, together with their daughters Carson and Emma, have joined us at Life Centre Church from The Church of Eleven22 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Four years ago, Brian and Meredith began praying a simple but courageous prayer. Rather than asking God to bless what they were already doing, they began asking where He wanted them to serve.
Step by step, that prayer has led their family towards long-term mission work and, ultimately, to South East Queensland.
Brian and Meredith are experienced ministry leaders with a deep love for the local church. They are passionate about seeing Christ-centred communities grow, where believers encourage one another, value discipleship and work together to strengthen the church.
Settling into Brisbane
The Lane family have found a place to stay in Newstead, close to Brisbane's CBD. With so many people living around them, they are excited about the opportunities to connect with their neighbours, build genuine relationships and share the gospel.
As they settle into a new country, community and culture, we have a wonderful opportunity as a church family to welcome and support them.
When you see Brian, Meredith, Carson and Emma at LCC, introduce yourself and help them feel at home. Friendship, practical help, prayer and encouragement can all play an important part in supporting them during this season.
How can we support the Lanes?
Please continue to pray for the Lane family as they settle into life in Australia and discern what God has for them here.
Pray for opportunities to build relationships within their local community, for their family as they adjust to a new culture and way of life, and for God to guide them as they pursue their heart for evangelism, discipleship and service.
They have a strong Christian community in the United States supporting them, and now we have the privilege of coming alongside them here in Australia.
